While setting up the studio, I (Fares) found myself missing some tools that I wasn’t able to find locally. This was a perfect opportunity to explore my woodworking skills and integrate the craft into my tailoring work. Sleeve Board

Hand made sleeveboard out of walnut, with a removable cover made out of Japanese canvas and layers or wool wadding.
Tailor’s Clapper
7” x 1.75” x 2”
Walnut.
Hand carved tailor’s clapper of a hand imprint as a handle for comfortable use contrasting the hard edges of the block.
Point Turner and Creaser
6” x 1.25” x 0.25”
Walnut.
Hand carved point turner and creaser, following an ergonomic design of the hand for a smooth grip.
